East Midlands Academy Trust looks to welcome three new schools

East Midlands Academy Trust is seeking to support three new schools with long-term stability and school improvement by welcoming them into its trust.

The trust, which currently has seven schools across Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, is looking to bring Culworth CEVA Primary Academy, Chacombe CEVA Primary Academy and Boddington C of E Primary Academy, all in south Northamptonshire, into its community of schools.

The three schools, currently part of Evolve Church Academy Trust, have been through a prolonged period of uncertainty and the proposal would help to secure the long-term future of the schools, placing strong pupil outcomes and wellbeing as the key priority.

A public consultation is now underway to give local people the opportunity to share their views on the proposal before a final decision is made by the Department for Education.

East Midlands Academy Trust chief executive Joshua Coleman said: “After spending some time visiting the schools and meeting staff, we felt we were in a strong position to make a significant difference through investment, curriculum support and school improvement.

“We have a proven track record of sustained school improvement, and we are committed to supporting these schools and their communities, working together to develop the schools to become the very best they can be.”

The consultation period runs until Tuesday 12th May at 5pm and people can take part in the following ways:
