East Midlands Academy Trust has carried out a Covid-19 Impact Review to assess the support provided to staff, pupils and parents/carers during the lockdown period.
The survey was designed to determine the effectiveness of the support provided by the Trust after the Government instructed schools to close for most pupils from March.
The results will help the Trust to learn what went well and what can be improved if another lockdown period were to happen again.
Here is a snapshot of the results:
Staff survey
- 80% of staff say they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the overall support received from EMAT since the lockdown period began in March
- 77% of staff say they were happy with the level of communication received
- 80% were happy with the support from the HR team and/or their line manager
- Of those who worked in school, 74% say they felt safe and supported
Parent survey
- 64% of parents say they were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall support provided by EMAT during the lockdown period since March.
- 64% of parents were also happy with the level of communication provided during lockdown
Stakeholder survey
- 86% of governors say they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the overall support received from EMAT since the lockdown period began in March
- 100% say they were happy with the level of communication received from EMAT
- 86% of governors were satisfied or very satisfied with the effectiveness of the school leadership team
