Anna Hewes
Headteacher, Prince William SchoolAs a previous student of Prince William, I understand and value the impact that a community school has on its students.
In my career to date, I have had the privilege to hold a variety of roles, starting as an language teacher, then a curriculum leader and next as a leader of early career teaching, before moving into whole school strategic leadership. I am passionate about pedagogy and using teaching strategies to provide independent learning experiences for all of our students, through building strong relationships built on mutual respect and adaptive teaching.
I am dedicated to providing the highest quality education for our young people, which enables them to achieve whatever ambitions they may hold for themselves. Our role, as educators, is to open the doors of opportunities and instil in our students the confidence to walk through those doors, teaching them the resilience to overcome any obstacles that might be in their path.
