Reflection, recovery, and resilience webinar 2021

Reflection, recovery, and resilience - how to promote strong ethical leadership as we emerge from the pandemic

East Midlands Academy Trust is delighted to be hosting a virtual roundtable discussion exploring the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in education and consider the future of pupil wellbeing and leadership change beyond Covid.

The forum will take place on Monday 19th April 2021 from 10am to 1pm and will identify the key findings from the past twelve months and investigate the recovery and catch-up plans around this topic.

The event is hosted by EMAT in collaboration with the Institute of School Business Leadership, Schools Advisory Service, Department for Education and the Northamptonshire Children’s Trust.

Throughout the event we will look at the early help support available for pupils including the social issues and data surrounding this. Our DfE representative will discuss the funding available to schools and educational establishments as well as myth-busting common misconceptions. National SEND leader Natalie Packer will explain the impact this past year has had on our SEND and alternative provision pupils and what we can do as leaders to help shape their future, while Daniel Sobel, of Inclusion Expert, will summarise themes distilled from the best research and sources on inclusion.

Powerful take-away actions will enable leaders to promote strong ethical leadership and shape the future impact for their schools.
