EMAT has been in existence for five years and as such, a few of our fabulous original trustees are now coming to the end of their term with us.  They have helped to shape our trust to date and they are big shoes to fill.  We are looking to replace them with people who are equally committed to our vision and values, who will bring experience from a wide variety of backgrounds and who will enjoy the challenge of contributing to a diverse and energetic multi-academy trust.

As well as ensuring that we are a diverse board, we are particularly interested in recruiting people with skills and experience in scrutinising and bringing challenge to finance or who have previous educational experience, but would welcome a conversation with anyone who would like to join us.

Perhaps this is your first appointment as Trustee?  You will play an important part in shaping and guiding our future strategy and development.  Full training will be provided and we will value you for the personal skills and experience you bring with you to the role.

Most important will be your desire to enable improvements for the good of our students, staff, volunteers and wider community ultimately leading to better outcomes for children.
